Nokia launches its navigator phone with gps

Nokia began providing program beta version of mobile maps, Nokia Maps 2.0, through the network. The new program came to a satellite view, multimedia city guides, pedestrian navigation, and improved user interface. Pedestrian navigation component names like Walk, giving instructions to the pilgrims visual turn-by-turn, location information, and details of the area as a park, roads and buildings. The program can also be used with an integrated compass on the phone - Nokia welcomes the new models - which shows the direction that they walk the user.
Nokia already offers car-based components for navigation as part of Nokia Maps, which is known as a Drive. Nokia Maps 2.0 to your phone and GPS, or external GPS module connected to the phone device, thus providing the voice instructions and visual tour-by-turn. Even the company said that Nokia Maps will begin in the mass market version of the 1 and a half years now equipped for mobile phones based on Series 40 platform.
Since ownership of the digital mapmaker Navteq for $8.1 billion, Motorola has been busy in developing new Softwares and tools to compete with the GPS system makers such as Garmin's leading, who recently launched his own hybrid Navigator phone. Compete with that, Nokia has introduced the first mobile GPS-enabled Nokia Maps 2.0 with integrated and well. The phone is also equipped with a car kit for car navigation, assisted GPS satellites to obtain views, and local maps pre-installed on 1GB memory card consequence.
By combining the integrated compass of the Nokia 6210, with accuracy and speed of assisted GPS, Nokia Maps 2.0 provides a unique experience that other mobile navigation applications can not be said Halbherr, Vice President of the location-based services from Nokia in a statement. Other features include support for 6210 Navigator 3G high-speed Internet browsing, 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio and MP3 player. 6210 Navigator is based on S60 platform, which means users can take advantage of the use of thousands out there now, according to Nokia.
Can Nokia 6210 Navigators start shipping in 3rd quarter 2008 in selected markets as the price 435 dollars.
